Prestigious English private boys school Eton College, which sent all its pupils home last week in response to the coronavirus outbreak, is offering its boarding accommodation to key workers in an effort to protect them from the illness.

Eton tweeted: “We will be making our boarding accommodation available to key workers locally who have family members needing to self-isolate at home. We are in advanced discussions with the @DHSCgovuk and our local @NHSuk and anticipate this programme will be up and running very soon.”
