Growing nurseries group The Old Station Nurseries has acquired Small Friends Day Nursery, located in Leigh-on-sea, Essex.

Vendor Louise Parfett stated that she is looking forward to pursuing new ventures as a result of the sale. Parfett said: “I have loved creating and nurturing Small Friends into a thriving and outstanding childcare provision and business. I will miss the wonderful staff team, children and families, but after 19 years it is now time for new opportunities.”

The acquisition increases Old D Station Nurseries’ portfolio to 19 sites across the South of England.
