Competition authorities in Brazil have cleared education company Yduqs’s acquisition of Adtalem Global Education’s Brazillian assets with no restrictions.
The green light from anti-trust watchdogs certifies the $372 million purchase by Yduqs, formerly known as Estacio, of Adtalem, which is Brazil’s tenth-largest private higher education provider, with some 102,000 students enrolled.
The deal will expand Yduq’s student base to 678,000.
